Marvel vs. Capcom 2 coming to XBLA, PSN

Looks like the prayers of 2D fighting game fans have finally been answered – Capcom has announced that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will be coming to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 this summer!

Developed by Foundation 9 and based on the original Dreamcast code, the game will feature an optional visual filter designed to make its pixelated graphics appear smoother on modern HD televisions, as well as online Ranked Match and Quarter Match modes. The original roster of Marvel and Capcom characters will remain intact, with all 56 characters being immediately accessible – no unlocking necessary!

Arriving this Summer, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will retail for $15 on the Playstation Network Store and 1200 Microsoft Points on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
