Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that six tracks from legendary rocker Alice Cooper will be available for download from the Rock Band Music Store next week. Futhermore, to commemorate this release, Harmonix and MTV Games have officially announced the Live Chicken** peripheral for use with Rock Band and Rock Band 2. Made entirely of edible materials, the Live Chicken peripheral will enable enthusiastic players to activate their Overdrive by biting its head off.

Joining the Prince of Darkness next week will be three tracks from American rock band, Taking Back Sunday.
