E3 2009 – ‘Dragon Age: Origins’ rises on October 23rd, new trailer

Eager to get the ball rolling on E3, Electronic Arts and BioWare have sent us a new trailer for their upcoming spiritual successor to the Baldur’s Gate franchise, Dragon Age: Origins. The trailer itself doesn’t feature any gameplay or real-time footage, instead we’re treated to a gorgeous pre-rendered cinematic of a Grey Warden warrior fulfilling his sworn duty. Oh, and a release date.

Dragon Age: Origins will be available on October 23rd, 2009 for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

The trailer also features the song The New Shit by Marilyn Manson, proving once and for all that he is in fact a Dark Spawn.
