Namco Bandai have just unveiled a new gameplay mode exclusive to the upcoming console version of Tekken 6 called Scenario Campaign. Like the Tekken Force mode found in the console versions of Tekken 3 and Tekken 4, and the Devil Within mode found in Tekken 5, Scenario Campaign is a beat-’em-up mini-game in which you face off against waves of generic enemies as your favourite Tekken characters. What sets Scenario Campaign mode apart from the modes that came before it? Online co-operative play.
Choosing from the cast of over 40 playable Tekken characters, players may proceed through the levels alone or together with a friend online. Together you can amass wealth and collect items to customize your favourite characters. Scenario campaign lets you abuse thugs and minions with your character’s signature moves, and will also provide you with an arsenal of swords, staffs, machine guns, flame throwers, and even giant robots. Sorry, Yoshimitsu, you’re just not that special anymore.
