‘Edge of Twilight’ brings fantasy, steampunk together at last

I have always loved the aesthetic of a well-crafted steampunk setting, and my years of playing role-playing games have made me appreciate the endless possibilities of fantasy. So you can imagine my excitement upon learning that Edge of Twilight, the upcoming third-person action adventure game from developer Fuzzyeyes, will seamlessly blend both genres into one world.

Currently in development for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms, Edge of Twilight introduces us to a steampunk fantasy world that has been split into two separate realms: Day and Night. Players will take the role of Lex, a being of both realms, and the only living halfbreed in the world. Caught amidst the clash between both civilizations, Lex will become part of an increasingly complex and enthralling storyline said to blur the lines between good and evil.

As he travels between the two realms, Lex will encounter interesting and unique characters, challenging puzzles that span both worlds, and beautifully rendered environments.

Edge of Twilight is scheduled for release this fall for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. In the meantime, check out the latest trailer from the game:
