Have you played Valkyria Chronicles from beginning to end, collected every medal and unlockable weapon, and still thirst for more? Well, GameNorth will be awarding one lucky reader with codes to download the two additional Valkyria Chronicles story chapters: Edy’s Mission – “Enter the Edy Detachment,” and Selvaria’s Mission – “Behind Her Blue Flame.”
- Edy’s Mission – “Enter the Edy Detachment” – Edy and five squad members have been separated from Squad 7. In this new mission, players will have to use this small team to defend a small village from an Imperial Army attack.
- Selvaria’s Mission – “Behind Her Blue Flame” – No more Mr. Nice Guy. This DLC lets you play as the enemy. Play as Johann, an engineer assigned to Selvaria, in a mission that takes place right after the outbreak of Gallian battle lines.

On Monday June 22nd, 10am, we’ll randomly select one of the comments and award the codes to the poster. All comments written up to the time of the draw will be considered eligible.

Update: The awesome folks at SEGA have also given us a code for the third Valkyria Chronicles DLC, Hard EX Mode. We have added it to the contest prize so that our lucky winner will get the chance to experience all that this wonderful game has to offer!
- Hard EX Mode – This add-on introduces a new difficulty to the campaign. The Edelweiss will be unavailable and enemies will be more lethal than before. Clearly, this is a mode for the hardcore VC players out there.

I’m all about ELEANOR VARROT. I don’t really have a good reason. I do kinda dig glasses. I just liked her.
I like Rosie, as I feel like her character goes through the most growth through the game, from an emotional standpoint. I also think her character flaws make her more human, and as such, an individual people can identify with.
I’m also a big fan of music in general, so her being a singer doesn’t hurt, either
Vyse is my favourite of the batch, mostly because I was a huge Skies of Arcadia fan and I loved seeing some love for the fans of it in Valkyria Chronicles.
Rosie is my favourite VC character. I liked watching her change from hating Darcsens to eventually grow and overcome the hatred.
Rosie is my favourite character in the game. She has the best character growth development and seems to be more realistic than others. Add on a great singing voice which is a huge plus.
Hmm, I think Alicia. Cute as a button.
Marina would be my favorite. She’s cool-headed, a sniper, and a cutie; a trifecta of awesomeness!
At the risk of sounding boring, I’ll place a vote for Welkin Gunther. I thought it was those first few missions that made him stand out more than he should have, especially compared to his squad’s personalities. Mostly on those missions where he devised strategies by utilizing hints he found from nature. Such as his river crossing tactic using those birds he was observing. It was nice in that his profession/hobby didn’t become just a tacked on personality trait for them to fall back on for random comedic moments.
It was a shame that they had to move to more traditional battlefield settings (E.g. trenches) as the story progressed, as it would have been pretty fun to see what random strategy he could’ve devised from say…more Goat droppings during battle.
Welkin… I think.
Main character, tank, and I like how he uses/analyzes the environment to help Squad 7 win battles and more…!
Selveria looks fantastic in her new form. She’s basically a girl version of Sephiroth from FF7.
