Have you played Valkyria Chronicles from beginning to end, collected every medal and unlockable weapon, and still thirst for more? Well, GameNorth will be awarding one lucky reader with codes to download the two additional Valkyria Chronicles story chapters: Edy’s Mission – “Enter the Edy Detachment,” and Selvaria’s Mission – “Behind Her Blue Flame.”
- Edy’s Mission – “Enter the Edy Detachment” – Edy and five squad members have been separated from Squad 7. In this new mission, players will have to use this small team to defend a small village from an Imperial Army attack.
- Selvaria’s Mission – “Behind Her Blue Flame” – No more Mr. Nice Guy. This DLC lets you play as the enemy. Play as Johann, an engineer assigned to Selvaria, in a mission that takes place right after the outbreak of Gallian battle lines.

On Monday June 22nd, 10am, we’ll randomly select one of the comments and award the codes to the poster. All comments written up to the time of the draw will be considered eligible.

Update: The awesome folks at SEGA have also given us a code for the third Valkyria Chronicles DLC, Hard EX Mode. We have added it to the contest prize so that our lucky winner will get the chance to experience all that this wonderful game has to offer!
- Hard EX Mode – This add-on introduces a new difficulty to the campaign. The Edelweiss will be unavailable and enemies will be more lethal than before. Clearly, this is a mode for the hardcore VC players out there.

My favourite Valkyria Chronicles character is Alicia. Reason is because she has a great personality in the game, she’s probably the best scout in the game when you use her in battle, and she’s also really cute
Alicia is definitely my favorite character. Scouts are very under rated in the game and with the right commands Alicia can take and dish out some insane damage. I want to know more about her history!
My favourite character has to be Isara. I almost cried when *spoilers*
she died. *end spoilers* All of sqaud 7’s continuation and motivation was based on the effect she had on Welkin and everyone. Even in the last scene *spoilers* when Welkin and Alicia fly off towards Randgriz *end spoilers* he talks about how Isara made his dream come true. Isara also seems to fight racism against the Darcsens. She is mostly my favourite because of the fact that she helps me more than for a while, with all her hints. It’s a lot better sounding when Isara explains some battle techniques, rather than when it just comes up in a plain white speech bubble. I also think it would be cool to have a sequel in the First Europan War with Isara and Welkins fathers at the forefront in the same way that Welkin and Isara are like. It could end with the war ending and Isara being born and then her father dies saving her. Then she lives with the Gunthers and meets Welkin. And that’s why Isara is my favourite character.
Hmmmm… Must say, as far as characters go, I have a certain fondness for Jann. I suspect an explanation isn’t required…
My favorite character is definitely Selvaria because she knows how to cook and she’s very wild too (lol)
My favourite character would be Edy. I love her hair style (twin tail), and her personality too. She maybe not much useful in the game, I still adore the character!
My vote for Rosie. It’s fascinating how changes along the story, their bonds with Isara and the incredible moment when she sings. Singging for the praise of a reminiscent peace, for everything that she thought was wrong and lives to protect from then on.
Rosie symbolizes the fate in all human being for changing and overcoming his inner pain. It’s, sincerely, wonderful.
My favourite is Marina. Shes an awesome sniper and shes quite mysterious. Her love for animals is also pretty neat. I love watching the anime and just seeing her with Hans all the time
Alicia is my favourite caracter, she can cook and is quite an acomplished soldier, especially towards the end of the game, with the proper orders she can almost finish a mission all by herself.
Selvaria. Long silver hair, red eyes, great body, a cook, and quite feisty.
My favourite is Wendy. Why? Simple. Because she’s a goddamn tough-as-nails lunatic in a wool hat with warpaint and a submachinegun.
This is a copout answer, but Vyse is my favourite character. Story-wise, he’s from a distant land called Europa, but fans know that he’s a cameo character from Skies of Arcadia and in battle, he’s just a beast with some of my favourite potentials. Not an easy choice with all the great characters.
Gotta go with Catherine O’Hara. Snipers are just my thing, and damn that Irish accent never gets old.
My favourite character of the game is Selvaria because of her loyalty towards Maximilian and his army. She also had the best character development of all the enemy commanders.
My fav character is Alicia, she is so awesome and so strong. She’s my #1 since she can take out all enemies easily by herself if you really know how to use her!
I’m gonna have to go with Vyse. I originally put him in my squad ’cause he looked cool, but seriously lucked out when he turned out to be great. He didn’t do much story-wise, but in my head there was a sub-plot involving the SoA characters lol and this game made me go hunt down a copy of Skies just to play it.
I wonder if playing as the tanks is considered as a caracter =)! Badass rocket shot!
favorite character, i’d say bridgette “rosie” stark. she’s not perfect but i see a passion in her that’s important to the squad’s perseverance. she’s a bit misguided in her beliefs, but… she has never let me down in battle; i credit that to her strong-will and readiness to fight for what she believes in. plus, i dig the fact that she is a singer; it shows a different side to her… damn, i love this game!
My favourite character is Marina. She’s my ace sniper on my team, and I like her VA.
I love Alicia. He characters is just so much fun but she is also quite the little bad ass. She can rip apart baddies then bake some cake for their funerals.
