After announcing that the band will soon have a presence in Rock Band, Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that three songs from multi-platinum punk rockers Green Day will be available in the Rock Band Music Store next week, among others.
These Green Day tracks are the first in the announced partnership between MTV Games’ Harmonix and the Warner Music Group to bring Green Day’s music library to Rock Band as downloadable content. The first three tracks – all appearing on Green Day’s newest album, 21st Century Breakdown – are 21 Guns, Know Your Enemy, and East Jesus Nowhere.

The tracks will be available on Tuesday, July 7 from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and Rock Band Wii store, and on Thursday, July 9 from the PlayStation Network Store.
