Free FPS ‘Sudden Attack’ open beta begins

GameHi Inc. has announced their first open beta for the free-to-play first-person shooter, Sudden Attack. The game has already seen a previous release in Korea and is now the most popular online FPS game in Asia, which is  insane. The beta plans to run from July 28th to August  17th for all interested in joining.

Sudden Attack was originally released by the parent company GameHi Co. Ltd in July 2006 and has since become the most popular online FPS game in Korea for over 100 consecutive weeks. GameHi Co. Ltd is hoping to receive similar success in North America.

Sudden Attack has a large variety of weapons ranging from assault rifles to sniper rifles which should keep everyone’s trigger finger happy. You purchase these weapons using points earned by completing objectives and killing the opposite team, but you can only hold these weapons for a certain amount of days. It also has a decent clan and ranking system which has been getting a lot of praise.

There are currently 11 maps. 5 dedicated to Team Deathmatch, 5 dedicated to Bomb Plantation and one dedicated to a newly released game type Siege, where both teams are fighting for a single control point. Needless to say, Sudden Attack offers quite a punch for a free-to-play game.

You can find more details and download the game at the official website..

Happy Hunting!
