Rock Band DLC – Got Sunshine In A Bag Edition

Harmonix and MTV Games have announced today that a three pack of songs from Gorillaz, the virtual band created by Blur frontman Damon Albarn, will be making their way to the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content next week. A selection of songs from their self-titled album as well as Demon Days, the Gorillaz three pack includes Clint Eastwood, Feel Good Inc., and Re-Hash. Joining Gorillaz next week are four songs from legendary classic rock bands, including The Who, Janis Joplin, and Jefferson Airplane.

The tracks will be available on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and Rock Band Wii store, and on Thursday, August 13, 2009 from the PlayStation Network Store.

The Wii back-catalog additions for next week include tracks from Blink-182, Damone, KISS, and Weezer, in addition to classic rock tracks from Steve Miller Band and Pat Benatar. With these additions, the Wii Rock Band Music Store offers more than 575 tracks for download.
