Latest ‘NHL 2K10′ trailer is full of razzle-dazzle, fancy footwork

Another week, another NHL 2K10 trailer. While last week’s trailer revealed that Alexander Ovechkin’s famous laying down goal will be featured in the game, this week’s trailer shows a few other players from the NHL engaging in fancy footwork and impressive dekes. The animation looks smoother than that seen in NHL 2K9, and the player models retain a considerable amount of detail while the game is in motion, but some of the old 2K9 animations remain. Though, considering the amount of time I have spent playing NHL 2K9, I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing.

Unfortunately, what the trailer doesn’t show is rival NHL10 cover athlete Patrick Kane getting arrested after assaulting a Buffalo cab driver. Shame!
