According to jgonzo’s blog, Capcom will be setting up a tent at the annual Toronto Zombie Walk this Saturday, October 24th. In order to promote Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles launching on November 17th for the Wii, Capcom will provide the makeup in order to turn you into one of the undead.
The details are as follows:
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles will be hosting a make up tent for those of you wishing to spend your afterlife on October 24th as a RESIDENT EVIL zombie. There will be a make up booth on site at the Park, starting at 12:30pm! Makeup services are free of charge!
The 2009 Toronto Zombie walk will commence at 3:30pm at Trinity Bellwoods Park, the meeting point will be the pit which is bordered by Dundas St. and Gore Vale Ave. After your 3 Kill-O-Meter lurch in quest of human flesh meet your fate at The DEAD END (Bathurst and Bloor).
In addition, Capcom is pimping a new set of ads for the video game here. They’re really gory and does not fit into the Wii demographic at all, but it’s refreshing to finally see something adult on the casual console.
If you’re in Toronto this Saturday and are looking for some fun, stop by and perambulate. I saw some zombies last year, it was pretty neat, and I am so proud that Toronto has such an event. If you are going, please send us some pictures of the event!
